Harris

In March 2017 Graham and I, along with our friends Jo and Michael, flew to Harris in the Outer Hebrides to join our friends John and Maria at a stunning holiday house.

The house over looked Luskentyre beach and we spent an incredible couple of days watching the weather change from the panoramic windows of the house and walking along the beach in the sunnier moments.

I'd always wanted to visit Harris and Lewis and in particular the Callanish Standing Stones, we did visit them but sadly there were some works happening so we didn't get to enjoy them in their full splendour. I wasn't prepared for the beauty of the beaches, the rapidly changing weather and the almost lunar landscape but I loved this island and I'm dying to return to Luskentryre with a paddle board or kayak.
